Hands On Physiotherapy

Struggling After Surgery? We Offer Post-Op Rehabilitation In Wimborne, Dorset?

Hands On Physiotherapy is here to help!

Post-op rehabilitation is incredibly important for all ages, whether it be recovery from a total hip or knee replacement, or surgical repair from a hernia, cancer or sporting injuries.

It is vital when rehabilitating from surgery that there is good communication between you and your physio to establish what activities you need to return to, what pressures you feel in returning to your preoperative stage, and the responsibilities that you’re now unable to do currently whilst recovering.

Often your rehabilitation post-surgery also involves many family members and friends adjusting their role. It’s important for us as physiotherapists to become a part of that support network, to set realistic goals and to be empathic to your individual situation, as well as your needs and goals.

Treatment as part of your post-operative rehab with us here at Hands On Physiotherapy aims to restore your strength, flexibility and range of motion that you had prior to the surgery to ensure effective recovery.

Thanks to our expert knowledge and extensive experience in treating people just like you, we can help you to manage pain, reduce swelling and improve circulation.
